Garden of Ridvan Community Garden | Food Forest | Educational Program |
The Garden of Ridvan is a project of Baha (Glory), a peace and unity garden started by Kamran Rouhani. The garden is divided into 19 zones with a natural pond in the midst of it all.
Rouhani's vision is that families and individuals go to this community garden to learn all about planting organic fruit and flowers, and the benefits of eating healthy, organic foods. There is always activity on the grounds whether it be planting or harvesting or otherwise maintaining the growing plants of the garden. Everyone is welcome, everyone is invited. We have 20 acres that can be used for the good of the community. |

GROWING COMMUNITY We are an all-inclusive, community-oriented permaculture food forest and gardens. Our primary goals are to teach the importance and methods of sustainable growing, serve those in need, and cultivate a supportive community regardless of race or creed. |
GOOD FOR EVERYONE Home gardening is not only a healthy and natural outdoor activity, but it also has the potential to decentralize agriculture by taking pressure off of commercial farmers, pressure that often results in chemical pesticide use and fertilizers that degrade our oceans and native soils. |
JOIN US At this time, plots are free, as are classes, events, workshops, and our monthly Peace Market. We welcome all experience and interest levels, and encourage you to come help yourself and your community by volunteering with us. Please call or e-mail for more information. |
